About Me

As part of the Biomedical Sciences Master - Clinical Ethics option at the University of Montreal (UdeM), I enjoy approaching complex subjects, projects and courses with a holistic approach. I'm particularly fond of ethical issues concerning genetics advances and screening programs in the society. After many laboratory and online courses, I developed the ambition to work in the pharmaceutical and public health sectors by focusing on ethics and genetics in clinical trials. To do so, my ability to work in teams, cultivate an intuitive understanding of people needs but also adaptability and organization favor me. September 2021 - August 2023

As biomedical sciences is a broad field of study, I decided to focus on clinical ethics. Indeed, this master introduces the foundations of applied clinical research and biomedical research in a clinical setting. Courses about foundations of clinical ethics, epidemiology, anthropology, society and health but also research seminars allow me to acquire basic knowledge to research, clinical and epidemiological aspects of human health. For my master's thesis, I have the opportunity to work on a clinical project at the CHU Sainte-Justine.

January 2021 - July 2021

Chair of Innovation and Value in Health - Paris School of Medicine

I participated into the Chair on topics such as Value-Based HealthCare (VBHC), Health economics and management. I learned a lot through Harvard case studies on intellectual property, artificial intelligence, genetics, insurances, stakeholders... I also assisted to conferences from Air Liquide, Amgen Inc and many more.

Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity (C.R.I.) of Paris and Descartes University

In this formation, I have the opportunity to learn about general science but more particularly life sciences by studying in a  world of research and understand the place of science in society. The program is based on a common core of mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer science and biology in order to approach life sciences in all their facets.

Master's thesis project at CHU Sainte-Justine, Montreal, Canada

As part of my master, I'm working on a screening program for four degenerative conditions at the CHU Sainte-Justine.

January 2021 - June 2021

Internship at l'Agence de la biomédecine - Research Department, Saint-Denis, France

I worked on CRISPR technic by taking into considerations all the ethical and technical issues. The goal is to establish recommandations and obtain an overview of policies on a global scale. This work could contribute to the Bioethics French Law.

Sept 2020 - Dec 2020

Internship in a Clinical Research Center, CHIC, Créteil, France

I did an internship at the CRC and had the opportunity to interact with the Respirology department. Indeed, I was in charge of the follow-up of clinical trials on bronchial cancer (KBP-2020-CPHG and AMG510). I also helped in the creation of protocols and information notes to be delivered to patients. I was immersed in the radiotherapy and pharmacy department which allows me to see several facets of the organization of clinical trials. Finally, I have been able to observe interventions in pneumology and participate in protocol launches and multidisciplinary consultation meetings.

AG2R La Mondiale, Paris, France

Summer job. During one month, I had the opportunity to discover the world of Bank and Insurance. I was working in the Individualized Management Department. My main tasks were to organize customers files and make monetary investments by arbitrage.

January 2019

Virology & Immunology Laboratory, Saint-Antoine Hospital of Paris, France

During this internships, I discovered the job of laboratory technician but also biologist. I sorted and centrifuged the patients blood tubes when they were delivered then putted them into automates. These automates were checking the presence of sexually transmitted diseases such as: HIV, Hepatitis A, B, C, E, syphilis, etc. When the results were positive, a second analyze was made by hand, I helped for hepatitis E & syphilis. Finally, I reported the results to the biologist which was giving his/her final conclusion to the doctor of the patient concerned. My internships presentation can be found right there.
